Rule 410. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 80cm. Kindly sponsored by STX-UK Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • British Novice:For registered ponies in Grade JD, that have not won a total of 150 Points to be ridden by Junior Members, ages as per Rule 77.12/77.13.Qualifies for: STX-UK Pony British Novice Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st May-30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Pony British Novice First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Pony British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain their double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular Pony British Novice First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.• 80cm Open:For registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior MembersIf combined with an open:In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split with two sets of prize money. Ponies may enter one section only.

Rule 414. Table A6. Speed 325mpm. Start Heights 75cm / 85cm. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes, Riders who have ever obtained points on the Gold League are not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Pony/Rider combinations who have ever obtained points on the Silver League are also not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Qualifies for: Four double clear rounds to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships. Two double clear rounds will also qualify for Cats & Pipes at The Scope Festival. Qualifying Period: 1st July - 30th June for Stepping Stones. 1st January-31st July for Cats & Pipes.Numbers to qualify: Those pony/rider combinations who achieve four double clears (subject to revision) will qualify for the Final. Those ponies who achieve two double clears will also qualify for the Cats & Pipes Championship at The Scope Festival.If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each height section. No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section.

Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify for: Those ponies which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off in at least four Pony Discovery First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Pony Discovery Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain their double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular Pony Discovery First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.• 90cm Open:For registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior MembersIf combined with an open:In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. Ponies may enter one section only.

Rule 415. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Heights 90cm / 1.00m. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: • In the 128cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 500 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination).• In the 138cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 850 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Ponies 128cm & under are not permitted to enter the 138cm section.Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final.Pony/rider combinations who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the final of this competition.Qualifies for: Springboard Final.Qualifying Period: 1st February -31st January.Numbers to Qualify: Four double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. In order to compete in the Final, all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with the Rule 77.12 & 77.13 in the year of the Final.If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each height section. First place rosette kindly sponsored by Blue Chip In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Rule - 76.6 • Blue Chip Pony Newcomers is for registered ponies in Grade JC & JD that have not won a total of 500 points to be ridden by Junior Members.Qualifies for: Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off in at least four Blue Chip Pony Newcomers First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Pony Newcomers Second Rounds.• The Open Section is for registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members. Junior Members, in either the Open or the Newcomers Section who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship. Riders who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.00m Final.Qualifies for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April. Qualification is Pony/rider Combination. Ponies may compete in one section only.

Rule 404 & 417. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m. Kindly sponsored by STX-UK In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • Pony Foxhunter First Round is for ponies in Grades JD and JC that have not won a total of 700 Points to be ridden by Junior Members. Qualifies for: STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off in at least four Pony Foxhunter First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Pony Foxhunter Second Rounds.• The Open Section is for registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members. Junior Members, in either the Open or the Pony Foxhunter Section, who have not won more than a total of 350 Points in the previous calendar year are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship. Riders who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.10m Final.Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Qualifies for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is pony/rider combination.

Rule 318. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 85cm. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2025 (assigned for the qualifying period) and any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2025 (assigned for the qualifying Period).Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams).Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Rounds.Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur Championship Qualifier - First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 85cm National Amateur Championship Qualifier - First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 85cm Championship Qualifier - Second Round competition.The winner of a particular 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. 85cm Open: For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.Horses may enter 1 section only. This class will be split with 2 sets of prize money awarded. Rule - 76.6 • British Novice:Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2021 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior British Novice Championship Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6Rule 102.16 British Showjumping hind boot rule for boots/leg protection applies in this class.Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice Championship - First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Championship - Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open:In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters. • 90cm Open:For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6.b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2020 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Discovery Championship Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6. Rule 102.16 British Showjumping hind boot rule for boots/leg protection applies in this class.Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers:(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2019, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Newcomers Championship Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6.Rule 102.16 British Showjumping hind boot rule for boots/leg protection applies in this class. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Championship - Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st May to 30th April(subject to revision). If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.• 1.10m Open:For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.• All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Senior Newcomers Championship - First Round/1.10m Open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only.

Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2025. Those riders not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2025 will be eligible to qualify for the National 1.15m Members Cup Final. Qualification criteria apply to both sections.Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships.Qualification period: 1st June-31st May. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.
