    Rule 318. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 85cm. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2020 (assigned for the qualifying period) and any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2020 (assigned for the qualifying Period). Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 85cm Second Round competition. British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.
    Rule 316. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 125 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equissage Pulse Senior British Novice second round (Age rule applies). Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 316 all 4yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but to qualify the horse must be 4yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2021. Therefore any horses which are 4yrs old from 1st October 2020 to 31st December 2020 and have won more than 125 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2020 to 31st December 2020. Qualification does not pass down the line. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

    Rule 314. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.00m. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • Discovery: a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2015 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6. Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the Discovery section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded. In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters. • 1.00m Open: For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

    Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m. First place rosette kindly sponsored by Lord & Lady Equestrian In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2014, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period:The Senior NewcomersSecond Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2020/2021 (2021 second rounds and finals) is 1 May – 30 April (subject to revision). If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. • 1.10m Open: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. • All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only.
    Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • 1.15m Members Cup Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2020. Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification period: 1st June-31st May. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination. Note: 1.15m Members Cup Qualifiers are permitted to be combined with Opens. In the event of 30 or more starters, the class will be split and two sets of prize money will be awarded. • 1.15m Open For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
